"This Oakland-based band serves up original compositions as well as classics from the Cuban jazz and New York salsa scenes. Sons, guajiras, cha-chas and salsas will get you wiggling and make you want to dance. The band is hot and the lead singer is a warm, sexy flirt. Good stuff.
1. [SIN PALABRAS] Hot, hip Afro-Cuban dance framed in a sharp arrangement.
2. [RITMO DE LA CALLE] Stylish, midtempo, jazzy opening into upbeat salsa groove.
3. [EL CARRETERO] Sweet mid/upbeat son wiggle. So good.
4. [UNO] Nicely swaying, midtempo cha-cha jam. Very cool.
5.[¡QUE NO AMANEZCA!] Upbeat salsa w/a catchy energy.
6. [MI BARRIO] Relaxed midtempo Latin jazz that showcases the band.
7. [Y NO HAGO MÁS NA'] Mid/upbeat salsa w/nice work from all. Wanna dance?
8. [UN DANZÓN DE MÁS] Slow, romantic then a midtempo cha-cha. Romantic & lush.
9. [ADORACIÓN] Slow intro, then upeat. Nicely arranged jazz dance w/class.
10. [EL CRUCIFIJO DE PIEDRA] Downtempo, relaxed, full of longing and romance. " |

| Oriente was awesome. They were the perfect band for our Carnaval Fundraising Gala. The kids were dancing, the adults were dancing, everyone had a really great time. They were also great to work with and really flexible about changes in our program. |

| I want to let you know how wonderful it was to have you all of Oriente at the Bay School party on Sat. You really made the party!!!
People loved listening and dancing to your music, and there have been many rave comments about how great you guys were. Many thanks to you and your entire band for all of your time, fantastic talents and energy, you were a hit and a pleasure.
Hope to see you all again some time.
